The Scots College Auditorium is the centre of celebration and honour in the life of a Scots family.
Following the approval from the College Council in late 2019, the refurbishment of the College Auditorium began over the Christmas vacation. Through the generosity of an esteemed Old Boy, Mr Harry Triguboff AO (’62) and current parents, the refurbishment will see the reinstatement of a vaulted ceiling, increased seating capacity, a new stage, state of the art sound and lighting. A new mezzanine level and foyer will also be created with the support of the Weinert family.
We currently have an opportunity for the entire College community (parents, Old Boys, friends of the College and staff) to become part of the narrative and fabric of our beautiful College. Beginning with tax-deductible* contributions of $1,500, grandparents, families, friends, staff and boys can be tastefully acknowledged on seating plaques, family crests and special donor boards.
This beautiful, traditional refurbishment will honour our heritage, our boys, families and staff, and further advance our living history for generations to come.
As a current parent or staff of The Scots College, you have the option to pay the full amount upfront or pay in instalments together with your son’s tuition fees (staff via salary deductions) over a two-year period.
You will be contacted by Ms Larissa Belonogoff, Community Engagement Manager to select a specific seat in your chosen section and to indicate which acknowledgement option you or your family would prefer.
*If you pay the full amount upfront, you will receive a deductible gift receipt (DGR) dated the day you pay. If you pay in instalments (or via salary deductions), you will receive a DGR each July for the total of the instalments you made in the previous financial year.
